Martin Van Buren National Historic Site will open for summer programs and tours on May 26, 2023. The Visitor Center tent will be open seven days a week from 9 am. to 4:30 pm.

Historic Preservation Award Presented to Keweenaw NHP and Partners
On Thursday, May 4, Keweenaw National Historical Park, Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance, Village of Calumet, Calumet Downtown Development Authority, Main Street Calumet, Houghton County Land Bank Authority, and Keweenaw National Historical Park Advisory Commission received a Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation for the collaborative Bring Back Calumet initiative.
