President's Investing in America agenda to invest $10 million in restoration work in Oregon

News Release: Portland, Oregon - As part of the President’s Investing in America agenda, the Bureau of Land Management will invest $10 million from the Inflation Reduction Act to increase fire resiliency and protect native vegetation on public lands in Oregon. This funding will be focused in two landscape areas called the Southwest Oregon and Southeast Oregon Sagebrush Restoration Landscape Areas.


BLM Sourdough Creek Campground bridge replacement partially funded by the Great American Outdoors Act

News Release: ANCHORAGE, Alaska- The Federal Highway Administration - Western Federal Lands Highway Division awarded a $3.2 million contract to D&L Construction of Cooper Landing to replace the BLM Sourdough Creek Campground bridge north of Glennallen. Work will continue through the summer to improve public access to the campground’s 42 camp sites, interpretive trail, boat launch and the Gulkana Wild and Scenic River.

This funding will be focused in two landscape areas called the Color Country Converging and Upper Bear River Restoration Landscapes.


Lake Mead National Recreation Area Receives Children’s Lifejacket Donations from the Assistance League of Las Vegas

News Release: BOULDER CITY, Nev. - Lake Mead National Recreation Area just received a boost in supporting safety for visitors. The Assistance League of Las Vegas, a non-profit organization that supports under-privileged youth across the Las Vegas Valley, donated 74 children’s life jackets to help Lake Mead National Recreation Area re-stock lifejacket loaner stations around the park in preparation for summer.


BLM Casper to begin final phase of construction on Price Road

BLM Extends Pinedale Anticline Project Area Comment Period

News Release: PINEDALE, Wyo. - Due to an administrative error, some annual planning documents for the Pinedale Anticline Project Area were not available online on May 18. To correct this error and ensure the public has a chance to review the documents and submit their comments, the Bureau of Land Management Pinedale Field Office is extending the comment period.
