Parde is currently the Interpretation Program Manager at Tonto National Monument in Roosevelt, Arizona. She will assume her new role at First Ladies in July.

Reclamation Releases Draft Environmental Assessment for Narrows Unit Lantz Tract Recharge Project

News Release: LOVELAND, Colorado - The Bureau of Reclamation has released a draft environmental assessment for the Narrows Unit Lantz Tract Ducks Unlimited Recharge Project (Project). The Project, located south of the South Platte River in central Morgan County, Colorado, will provide additional open water habitats for spring and fall migrating waterfowl, as well as other local and migratory wildlife species.


Jackson Glacier Overlook

Interior Department Announces $578.8 Million in Payments to Support Vital Services in Communities

News Release: WASHINGTON -The Department of the Interior today announced that more than 1,900 state and local governments around the country will receive a total of $578.8 million in Payments in Lieu of Taxes funding for 2023. Because local governments cannot tax federal lands, annual PILT payments help to defray the costs associated with maintaining important community services. 


St. Mary Visitor Center

Lunch Creek

Pactola Dam Driftwood Removal Project to begin mid-June
