U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials with the Fort Worth District, announced today, from March 13 through 17, the Stilling Basin (Outlet Area) at Lake O' the Pines will be closed to the public, for rip-rap placement and bank stabilization work.

For the safety of the public and work crews, the Stilling Basin (Outlet Area) will be closed to the public for fishing, boat launching, and all other recreation activities. The lower road below the dam will remain open. “We appreciate the patience and understanding of all while we make these necessary repairs to the embankment, which continues to function as intended and designed,” said Natural Resources Manger Dustin Flowers.
