Ice Harbor Lock and Dam is looking for individuals or couples to serve as volunteers. There are two types of positions open: Grounds Maintenance and Park Host with grounds maintenance duties.

Volunteers will be provided with an RV site with full hookup along the Snake River in exchange for 28 hours of work a week. Weekend and holiday work required. Volunteers must provide their own RV. Individuals and/or couples are welcome to apply.  No restroom cleaning or money handling required. 

Grounds Maintenance Volunteers will be working at Charbonneau Park. Volunteers will be responsible for mowing, irrigating, cleaning fire rings, picking up litter at various locations and miscellaneous yard work. 

Volunteer Park Hosts with grounds maintenance duties will be working at Levey or Windust Parks. Levey and Windust volunteers will greet visitors/campers and inform them of the rules. Park Hosts will also be responsible for mowing, irrigating, cleaning fire rings, picking up litter at various locations and miscellaneous yard work.
