The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, and the City of St. Augustine invite the public to observe their monthly St. Augustine Back Bay Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) Feasibility Study project delivery team (PDT) meetings starting April 20, 2023.

During each monthly meeting, the PDT will discuss key updates to the planning process, key schedule milestones, and conduct a discussion with representatives of federal, state and local agencies engaged in the study. The open plan formulation discussion is being conducted to ensure public visibility and awareness of the study team’s deliberations and progress.

The public is invited to listen and provide comments at the end of each meeting; however, viewers will not be able to engage directly in the discussions because these are working project team meetings and not an advisory body meeting.

The initial live virtual PDT meeting will take place Thursday, April 20, from 1-2:30 p.m. The public is invited to join via Webex online meeting link at https://usace1.webex.com/meet/jason.s.harrah.

Alternately, the public may join via telephone to listen to the discussion. Dial 1-844-800-2712 and enter access code 199 927 9909 when prompted.

No reservation is necessary and all are welcome.

Future virtual meetings will be held the third Thursday of every month. Upcoming dates include May 18, June 15 and July 20. USACE and the city will post and publish reminders via their websites and social media channels, and through the press.

USACE and the city are presently organizing in-person public meetings in St. Augustine to brief the community on the study’s progress and accommodate open discussion and question and answer exchanges.

USACE Jacksonville and the city will announce details for participation as they become available.
