The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled a Buffalo Bill Reservoir Water Information Meeting in Powell, Wyoming.

The meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m on Friday, April 7, in the Yellowstone Building, rooms 103 and 105 located at the Northwest College, 231 W 6th St, Powell, Wyoming. A map of the campus can be found here, https://nwc.edu/about/campus/.  Topics of discussion will be current water supply conditions, the 2023 snowmelt runoff forecast, and 2023 projected reservoir operations.

Buffalo Bill Reservoir near Cody, Wyoming, has a storage capacity of 646,565 acre-feet and provides irrigation water to approximately 95,000 acres.  It is a source of municipal water supply to multiple communities, and its power generation facilities provide electricity to thousands of homes.
