The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on April 11. It is reproduced in full below.

The Underground Railroad in Boston: A Self-Guided Audio Tour is a twelve-stop walking tour that includes the historic African American neighborhood of Beacon Hill, downtown Boston, and Long Wharf. The tour interprets the Underground Railroad in Boston using narrations of first-hand accounts and an original score inspired by folk songs and spirituals. The tour also highlights the individuals, organizations, and institutions that assisted freedom seekers on their journey, and examines public protest against enslavers, their agents, and government authority. The tour is available on the National Park Service App.
