CASPER, Wyo. - Visit the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center this Sunday to learn how the Trails Center became a reality as a goal of passionate trail preservationists. This 30-minute presentation will begin at 1 p.m. on April 16.
In August 2022, the Trails Center marked two decades of service to visitors from across the nation and around the world. Since its inception, more than 600,000 people have passed through the doors of the building to learn about the importance of the National Historic Trails. Join Trails Center interpreter Reid Miller as he presents a colorful reflection of why their visits matter.
“We want to say, ‘thank you’ to the people of Casper and Wyoming for their support of the Trails Center from the earliest days of its planning," says Trails Center manager Leslie Peters. “Everyone is invited to join us for a look back at how this world-class facility was conceived and brought into existence."
