SPRINGFIELD, MA - Springfield Armory National Historic Site (NPS) is proud to host a photography exhibit; “Celebrating Our Nation’s Promise", curated by the Putnam Vocational Technical Academy photography club and their instructor Denise Stewart. The exhibit will be on display through May 7th. The exhibit, sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council, features local veterans and those currently serving in the military. Ms. Stewart described the essence and goal of the exhibit, “This exhibit celebrates the contributions, honors the legacies and achievements and highlights the joy, fellowship, commitment, and hope of our collective Springfield community". As part of the show, there will be a Meet the Photographers event on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00 - 12:00, giving an opportunity to learn more about the composition and meaning behind the photos. The event is free and open to the public.
