The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District announces that Water Valley Boat Ramp at Enid Lake will be closed temporarily beginning Wednesday night, April 19. The ramp will be closed through the weekend of April 22-23. The closure does not affect the campground in the area.

The ramp will be used by crews that are repairing a power line damaged during recent storms in the area. Visitors are asked to use alternate boat ramps such as Point Pleasant or Long Branch to access Enid Lake.
