REDDING, Calif. - The Bureau of Land Management’s Northern California District Resource Advisory Council has cancelled a field tour and meeting planned for Wednesday and Thursday, April 26 and 27, in Redding. The council will consider the agenda items when it holds a field tour and meeting Wednesday and Thursday, May 24 and 25, at the BLM Arcata Field Office, 1695 Heindon Road, in Arcata.

Agenda items for the May meeting include development of a new land use plan for BLM-managed lands in northwest California, status reports from mangers of the BLM Applegate, Arcata, Eagle Lake and Redding field offices, a report from the BLM California state director on statewide BLM issues, a status report on recent land acquisitions and a report on a proposed BLM public lands rule.
