The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District announces a temporary closure of access to the Delaware Dam beginning Monday, April 24, 2023.

The access closure is necessary to support cleaning and painting of all six crest gates and ensure the safety of the public. The work is expected to continue until the end of November 2023.

All recreational areas at Delaware Lake will remain open and unaffected. The east side of the dam outflow fishing area will not be accessible from the recreation area parking lot. The west side of dam outflow fishing area will remain open and unaffected and is accessible from the trail system in the recreation area.

Parking availability is reduced due to material layouts and storage.
