The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District participated in RiverWorks Discovery’s “Who Works the River” event in Point Pleasant on April 21st.  The event showed groups of students from Cabell, Mason and Gallia Counties the job opportunities working on the river as well as the importance of those careers. Students at the event got the opportunity to get hands-on training in rigging, line towing and more job experiences unique to working on the river with trained professionals from the USACE Huntington District, Amherst Madison and more. The Huntington District also  had a booth setup to talk to the students about the wide variety of job opportunities USACE has to offer.
