The following press releases was published by the Bureau of Land Management on April 27. It is reproduced in full below.

CAÑON CITY, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management’s Royal Gorge Field Office has rescinded stage 1 fire restrictions on all BLM-administered public lands within the boundaries of Baca, Bent, Crowley, Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Lincoln, Otero, Park, Prowers, Pueblo, and Teller counties.

“Due to recent moisture and precipitation, we no longer meet all of the indices required for stage 1 fire restrictions," said Royal Gorge Field Manager Keith Berger. “A number of scientific parameters guide these decisions, and we try to ensure the public has fire restriction information as soon as we have the data."
