INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a local artist and instructor from the Art Barn for Art in the Park. This event will be held at the Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education on Saturday, May 13, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Learn how to paint your own dunes-inspired painting. There is a fee of $15 for supplies and reservations are required in advance at www.artbarnschool.org.

The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is in the western portion of the national park at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary.
