The proposed project entails construction of a new raw water supply line to serve the City of Riverdale water treatment plant. The public is encouraged to provide comments on the draft environmental assessment which can be downloaded at: https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/utils/getfile/collection/p16021coll7/id/23735 

The project activities include constructing 28,549 linear feet (5.4 miles) of new raw water line starting from the intake located at the Garrison Powerhouse, beneath the Garrison Dam spillway, and north along County Road 16 to the Riverdale water treatment plant. The project will provide reliable water supply infrastructure for Riverdale, which includes the intake of raw water to the water treatment plant which supplies drinking water to the area.
