This 1.5-mile self-guided walking trail allows the visitor to see both perspectives of the battlefield. Wayside exhibits around the trail highlight battle events. The Centennial Monument, U.S. Monument, and Ferguson's Grave are key features along the trail.

Please stay on the paved trail and do not distrub wilflife or plants. At times, the trail is steep. Do not attempt the trail if you have a heart condition, diffculty breathing, or trouble walking. Before walking the trail, please be aware of weather conditions, bring water, and be mindful of park hours. No bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc. are permitted. Do not climb on the monuments or markers.
