Glen Jean, WV — New River Gorge National Park and Preserve Superintendent Charles Sellars announces that there will be a temporary closure of the Grandview area of the park as roads are being resurfaced. Work will begin on the main road leading into the park on Monday, May 22, and is estimated to take two days, depending upon weather. Access to parking lots and trailheads will be closed as work is completed. The planned reopening date is May 24th after work is completed. Any changes to this schedule will be posted on the park’s Facebook page.
