BRECKSVILLE, Ohio - Cuyahoga Valley National Park invites the public to review and comment on, from June 7 – July 11, the draft Circulation Environmental Assessment (EA), which is an important component of implementing the park’s Community Access Plan. The EA analyzes the impact of select trail and parking actions in the plan.
The park will hold two virtual public information sessions on June 13 at 2 pm and 6:30 pm. No registration is required. Visit https://go.nps.gov/2rsi4o to access the meeting links, available June 7. The meetings will provide an overview of the EA and the commenting process.
Visit ParkPlanning - Develop a Comprehensive Visitor Use Management Plan and GMP Amendment for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (nps.gov) to learn more about the Community Access Plan, read the EA and enter comments.
The park shared a draft of the Community Access Plan in summer 2022, and all comments have been considered as planners work to finalize it. The purpose of the plan is to improve visitor opportunities and address transportation-related challenges to visiting the park, while protecting the park’s natural and cultural resources.
