Concord, MASS -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District announced today that the Sagamore Bridge maintenance work is complete, two weeks ahead of schedule.

The contractor this morning completed the paving portion of Phase 3 of the project work. Phase 3 of the project included repairs to both the east side roadway lanes and the sidewalk of the bridge. Contractors are finishing up work on the sidewalk and cleanup of the construction area but have removed the lane restrictions and put down temporary line striping on the bridge.

All travel lanes are open.

The contractor will come back over the weekend at night to complete permanent line striping, remove all the temporary road signage and reopen the sidewalk to pedestrians and cyclists. USACE would like to thank everyone in the community for their patience and cooperation during this critical repair work that was competed well ahead of schedule!
