Depending on your journey, you've either passed through the Big Stump Entrance Station or you're about to leave the park for the next chapter in your trip. If you just arrived, you might be about to embark on the Generals Highway towards places like the Giant Forest or Lodgepole. Take a moment to stop at the Kings Canyon Visitor Center. Get information about the road ahead. Pick up some maps, books, and gifts. Use the restrooms. Browse exhibits about sequoia ecology and human history of the groves. Take a moment to watch the 15-minute park movie. Join a free ranger-led program if one's on the schedule.
