Clarkston, Wash – The Lower Granite Natural Resource Management office has reopened the boat ramp at Wawawai Landing.

NRM officials closed the Wawawai Landing boat ramp after a recent inspection revealed four broken concrete segments. These segments had broken free and slid down the ramp, leaving a rut in the launching surface and creating an underwater hazard. The NRM maintenance crew was able to remove the hazard to reopen the launch, but boaters are advised to be cautious if using the ramp.

Boaters can also utilize Blyton Landing, eight miles south on Wawawai Road or Nisqually John Landing, 14 miles south on Wawawai Road to launch vessels.
