The following press releases was published by the Bureau of Land Management on July 5. It is reproduced in full below.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - To protect public and environmental health, the BLM has temporarily closed the RV dump station at the Five Mile Campground located approximately 4 miles north of the Yukon River crossing, at Dalton Highway Milepost 60. The RV dump station is not working properly and will remain closed until repairs are completed.

This is the only dump station along the Dalton Highway. RV travelers will have to dump waste at facilities in Fairbanks. Once repairs are completed, the BLM will announce the reopening of the dump station. For updates and traveler alerts, visit the Dalton Highway Recreation webpage.
