The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on July 13. It is reproduced in full below.

A tour of the Thomas Stone House reveals more than a series of elegant chambers and a collection of beautiful objects. The house is a reflection of experiences of the people who shared Thomas Stone's life as a planter, a lawyer, and a politician. Learn about the unique influences behind his decision to sign the Declaration of Independence and how that decision impacted his community for generations.
