The Rainbow Fire is now out following a strong initial attack and continued work by North Cascades, Missoula, and Redmond smokejumpers. Helicopter and Fire Boss plane support included approximately 105,000 gallons of water over two days. The Boulder Creek Trail and Hooter, Rennie, and Reynolds Hiker and Stock camps are now open.
