FRESNO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has scheduled a teleconference negotiation session for Cachuma Project water supply with Santa Barbara County Water Agency and the Member Units on a second amendment to the existing water service contract (Contract No. I75r-1802RA), dated Sept. 28, 2020.

The amendment would extend the contract term up to three years and allow Santa Barbara County Water Agency to continue delivering its surface water supply to the Member Units.

The date and time of the teleconference negotiation is:

* Tuesday, July 25 at 9:30 a.m. PDT

The public is welcome to listen during the negotiations and provide comments after the session closes.

The Santa Barbara County Water Agency is a federal contractor within the Cachuma Project; it provides the largest source of dependable surface water supply in Santa Barbara County. The Cachuma Project, with Bradbury Dam, impounds waters of the Santa Ynez River to form Cachuma Lake.
