SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation is holding a hybrid public meeting Aug. 8 to provide an update on the Delta Cross Channel Gates Modernization Project and results of the feasibility level technical memorandum.

The modernization project will increase the operational flexibility, reliability, and safety of the Delta Cross Channel gates by streamlining their operation to improve water exports, ensure water quality and to control salinity in the interior Delta, and to protect migratory salmonids from entering and becoming lost in the Delta.
