Kula, HI- Haleakalā National Park’s Summit District remains closed to visitors due to blocked road access as well as power outages resulting from wildfires and high winds. All sunrise reservations for August 9, 2023 are canceled.

Haleakalā National Park will reopen once conditions improve. Any changes in the park’s status will be posted at www.nps.gov/hale.
