Craig, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management Northwest District has announced the selection of Kymm Gresset as the Little Snake Field Manager.
As the BLM Little Snake Field Manager, Gresset will oversee the multiple uses of public lands encompassing approximately 1.3 million acres and over 1.9 million mineral estate acres dispersed across Moffat, Routt and Rio Blanco Counties.
“Kymm brings a broad range of natural resource experience to the position and her experience working with diverse interests as well as state and local agencies will be of great benefit to the Little Snake Field Office," said Elijah Waters, Northwest District Manager.
“I look forward to working with the staff and with the many people and partners involved in public land management in northwest Colorado while making this my home," Gresset said.
A native of Lake Andes, S.D., Gresset comes to Craig from Albuquerque, N.M., where she was the Field Manager of the Rio Puerco Field Office. She has over 17 years of natural resource management experience with the BLM and the U.S. Geological Survey in Virginia, Colorado, Montana and Idaho.
Gresset is joined by her husband, Stephen, and two children.
