The Prosper Road trailhead begins in a small parking lot on Prosper Road, on the western side of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.

To access the Prosper Rd parking lot from West Woodstock, turn north onto Prosper Road from West Woodstock Rd/Route 4 and drive 2 miles. The parking lot will be on your right.

To access the parking lot from Barnard, turn south onto Prosper Rd from Barnard Rd/Route 12 and drive 0.6 miles. The parking lot will be on your left after passing the Prosper Rd cemetary.

There are two trails that begin at the Prosper Rd parking area, McKenzie Farm Trail and Prosper Trail. A large park map and park brochures are located at the start of the Prosper Trail. For maps and hiking information, visit Hiking Trails at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.

Cell service is extremely limited. Plan ahead before trying to locate this trailhead.
