Patchogue, NY - Fire Island National Seashore announces the reopening of the Lighthouse Tower. Beginning Wednesday, August 30th, visitors will be able to take a tour of the tower.

“We are excited the work to stabilize the outer façade of the lighthouse tower is complete. Visitors are now able to climb the steps and take in the vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and Great South Bay." says Scott McCormick, Acting Superintendent of Fire Island National Seashore.

The tower tour does require an admission fee and proper footwear is required. The Lens Building, Keepers Quarters and museum store are open and accessible to the public.
