JACKSON, Wyo. - As part of the Bureau of Reclamation’s continued commitment to share information about its operations, a public presentation will be given on Sept. 14, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Teton County Library. Reclamation subject matter experts will be on hand to discuss federal reservoir system operations in the upper Snake River basin. Topics will include facility operation and maintenance, water operations, and other resource management associated with Reclamation’s Minidoka Project. Additionally, Water District 01 staff will share information about water right administration in Idaho.

“The upper Snake River system is complex and can be challenging to manage at times. We value collaboration with our partners and want to contribute to the public’s understanding of the multifaceted nature of water management," said Snake River Area Manager Lanie Paquin.

This public meeting is the first of a series of public meetings to help ensure the public has an enhanced working knowledge of the upper Snake River system. A virtual option is available by following the directions below.
