BLM Worland provides location for fireworks

News Release: WORLAND, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management Worland Field Office will again make a temporary, local exception to the fireworks ban on public lands for the Independence Day Holiday. The use of fireworks will be permitted July 2-5, 2023, at the first gravel pit along the road to the landfill northwest of Worland.

Be Fire Aware: Moderate Fire Restrictions in Effect on Bureau of Land Management Public Lands in Medford District

News Release: MEDFORD, Ore. - Due to an increase in natural and human-caused fires and the approaching holiday weekend, the Bureau of Land Management Medford District officials are implementing public use restrictions on BLM-managed lands in southern Oregon. Starting June 23, 2023 at 12:01 a.m., certain activities on BLM-managed lands in Jackson and Josephine Counties will be restricted to prevent human-caused fire and reduce wildfire potential.
