Paving Project to Close Entrance Road and Parking Lot at Friendship Hill
News Release: Visitors to Friendship Hill should expect lane restrictions starting May 15, 2023. Friendship Hill is the historic home of Albert Gallatin, Secretary of the Treasury for Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The milling and paving of roadways at Friendship Hill National Historic Site are to begin this Monday and completed before the end of June.
