News Release: FORT SMITH, Mont. - According to Natural Resources Conservation Service data, as of June 19, 2023, the southern Montana and northern Wyoming region received 5.29 inches of rain, which is 193% of the average total of 2.74 inches for the entire month of June. In response, releases out of Yellowtail Dam into the Bighorn River are scheduled to increase from the current release of 13,000 cubic feet per second to 15,000 cfs between June 20-22, 2023.

News Release: Leonard Helm was born around 1720 on a farm that straddles the present Virginia county lines of Fauquier and Prince William Counties to Thomas Helm and Margaret Lynaugh. Little is known of his early years except for that he was born into a large, wealthy, family. News Release: SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS, Calif. June 18, 2023 - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks will enter stage 2 fire restrictions at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Stage 2 fire restrictions prohibit campfires and charcoal fires in the hot, dry, low-elevation areas of the parks, including Potwisha Campground and Hospital Rock and Ash Mountain Picnic Areas.
