Colonial National Historical Park hosts Clean the Bay Day Event
News Release: Williamsburg, VA--- On June 3, 2023, Colonial National Historical Park partnered with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation to host two litter pickups at separate locations along the Colonial Parkway. Approximately 50 volunteers from local businesses and the community picked up over 650lbs of trash during the three-hour event. With frequent recreational usage throughout the year, the areas of College Creek and Archer’s Hope were designated litter pickup zones for Clean the Bay Day.
