Fire Island National Seashore Tower Facade Repair

News Release: Patchogue, NY - Fire Island National Seashore announces the next phase of the Lighthouse Tower Façade repair. On Wednesday, August 23rd, contractors will begin the stabilization portion to the lighthouse tower facade. Path of the Flood Hike, Part II

News Release: The second half of the Path of the Flood hike will be held on Sunday, August 27 at 10:00 am. This hike starts at Franklin and ends at the Stone Bridge. Distance is 4-5 miles in length over flat terrain. Reservations are required. There is limited space due to shuttling. Reservations can be made by calling the Visitor Center at 814-886-6171.

News Release: SAN ANTONIO- Aug. 22, 2023 - A new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 1.2 million visitors to San Antonio Missions National Historical Park in 2022 spent $98.3 million in communities near the park. That spending supported 1,540 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $155 million.
