Saratoga National Historical Park Reopens Flood Damaged Route 4 Entrance

News Release: Stillwater, N.Y. - Saratoga National Historical Park reopened its eastern entrance at Route 4 today after park facilities staff completed stabilization efforts. Permanent repairs will occur later. The entire Park Entrance Road between Route 4 and Route 32 is now available. In addition, a section of the park’s Wilkinson Trail has reopened for hiking. Annual “Ride the Hurricane” cycling event scheduled for August 6 on Olympic National Park’s Hurricane Ridge Road

News Release: Olympic National Park will host Ride the Hurricane, a recreational cycling event on Sunday, August 6. To provide a safe experience for the event, Hurricane Ridge Road will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic starting at 7:00 AM and ending at 12:00 PM. This applies to both uphill and downhill travel. The road will reopen to traffic at 12:00 PM when the event is concluded.
